Uncle Jud was a big practical joker. He had an Indian headdress made from turkey feathers that he wore and in it, he certainly had the profile of an Indian chief!

He hand-built his own home for his family and we cousins spent many happy times there. I can still see him sitting in his chair by the front door, watching his television which was about 4 feet high and 2 feet wide. It had a round screen no bigger than a ship's port hole!

My Uncle is missed so very much by all his many, many relatives and friends. He left all of us with lots of warm and happy memories. We love you Uncle Jud.

Ira is my maternal Grand Uncle and also my paternal Uncle. His sister Flora Dorset (Clevenger) Warfield is my maternal Grandma and his wife, my Aunt Irene is my father's sister.

Many thanks to Jewels for the tombstone photo.
