Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, TX.
He passed away April 2, 2010 in Tyler, TX.
Mr. Tucker was born August 26, 1921 in Eustace, TX, to William and Ollie Ayers Tucker.
He was a member of Clearview Bible Church, . Eli was a member of the 1941 graduating class of Martins Mill High School. Her served his country with the 84th Division of the 334th Infantry in the European Theatre during WWII. He retired from East Texas Motor Freight after of 37 years of service. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Aubry Earl Hope Lodge No. 1446 AF&AM.
Surviving are Son, Tommy N. & Sallie Tucker of Eustace, Daughter, Dianne Mathews & fiance Kevin of Eustace, Brother, Hoyt Tucker of Dallas, two Sister: Ara Flowers, and Lou Fern Weatherford, both of Canton, Grandson, Troy & Stacey Tucker of Eustace, two Granddaughters: Kristi Mathews Hobson & Husband Steven of Grapeland, and Amanda Tucker of Eustace, nine Great-Grandchildren: Kasen, Khane, Christiaan, Zoe-Jane, Bella, Lil' Eli, Stetson, Montana, & Dalton.
Eli was preceded in death by his Wife, Wanda Faye Tucker, Brother, Clarence Tucker, two Sisters: Faye Hyde, and Gussie Athey and his Parents.
Pallbearers are Christopher Spicer, Rickey Owen, Randy Johnson, Warren King, Kevin Kosechata, Troy Stroman, Steven Hobson, Michael McDowell. His Gereat-Grandsons will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
