Rosa Florine Hensley, 74, of McGaheysville, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at her home.
Mrs. Hensley was born Sept. 27, 1931, in the Shenandoah Valley, and was a daughter of the late Zechariah and Loretta Frazier Conley.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Blue Ridge Independent Church. She enjoyed flowers and writing poetry and songs.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Theodore Parker Hensley; two sons, Theodore "Teddy" Hensley of McGaheysville and Larry W. Hensley of Elkton; two daughters, Carolyn Bauserman and Nileen Dobscha, both of Elkton; a sister, Thelma Pearl Hensley of Elkton; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Gerald Meeks will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Monday at Blue Ridge Independent Church in Elkton. Burial will follow at the Mount Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Sunday at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
