Born Sept. 13, 1905, in Waynesboro, Mr. Arnold was a son of the late Cornelius A. and Bernice Thacker Arnold. He was an employee of the Nelson Box Co. Baltimore, and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Sparrows Paint, Md.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Branscomb, Kinston, N. C.; four brothers, H. W. Arnold, Route 2, Waynesboro; Fay W. Arnold, Waynesboro; Fred C. Arnold, Staunton, and Charles R. Arnold, Stuarts Draft; and two sisters, Mrs. Ada Davis, Route 2, Waynesboro, and Mrs. Mary McCormick, Waynesboro.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Memorial Chapel of the McDow-Tyree Funeral Home by Brothers F. E. Weaver and C. M. Grove. Interment will be in the Springdale Mennonite Church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be nephews.
