He was born September 17, 1913 in Manawa, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Gresen) Weller.
On November 17, 1937 Edwin was united in marriage to Lorna Hartwig in Shawano. She survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Everett (Mary) Weller, Bowler, Jerome (Gloria) Weller, Neenah; four daughters, Evaleen (Harvey) Johnson, Appleton, Audrey (Roger) Flaherty, Menasha, Sherry (Roger) Liesch, Hortonville and Janice (John) Stephens, Madison; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Clara Kleman, Appleton; and many nieces and nephews.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, Alfred Weller, Gustave Weller, Joseph Weller, Frank Weller, Herman Weller and George Weller and five sisters, Celia Krenn, Emily Flaig, Mrs. Fred Beckman, Georgeann Weller and Mary Wanta.
Funeral services were held October 3, 1998 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. The Rev. John Pavel officiated. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
