BEECH GROVE - Miss Ida Woodard opened her school at this place Monday, the 8th.

From The Pulaski Citizen, August 5, 1915:
Twice last week the angel of death darkened the home of Mr. Dave Dale, claiming first the infant and then a few days later its fond mother. Mrs. Dale was formerly, Miss Ida Woodward, and had been a member of the church for a number of years. A husband and four little girls survive her. May God's richest blessings be upon this broken family.
______________
Ida Bell Woodard married David Wilson Dale. They had four daughters. One day in 1915 the girls ran outside to see the peddler driving his horse and wagon down the street. Ida Bell, who was pregnant with her fifth child, feared that Nona, a toddler, would be run over, so she chased after her. Ida Bell tripped and fell down the steps, losing the baby. She died at few days later on July 28, 1915, and was buried at Frankewing's Mt. Zion Methodist Church. Her father put up her marker.
