NACE
Ora Fay Umbenhower Nace, daughter of Abraham and Nancy Jane Umbenhower, was born in Lucas County, Iowa, August 22, 1896, and departed this life on July 14, 1972, at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 23 days, at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital in Chariton.
She was married on September 18, 1920 to Lonnie Nace. To this union one daughter was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Bertha McMannis and one brother, Jess Umbenhower.
She is survived by her husband, Lonnie; one daughter, Merna and son-in-law, Glenn Heston, all of Chariton; one sister, Flossie Baker and husband William of Sacramento, Calif., a sister-in-law, Etha Umbenhower of Chariton; two nieces and three nephews.
She was a loving wife and mother and leaves many more relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Duane Houston at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 17, 1972, at the Fielding Funeral Home. Interment was in the Chariton Cemetery.
