She had resided in Claremont, NH for most of her life. She was employed as a nurse's aide for several nursing homes. She was a member of the Congress of Senior Citizens. She also volunteered in food service at the Senior Congress park. She moved to Glendale a year ago.
She married Elmer Atwood Nelson on March 29, 1941 in Windsor, VT but were divorced on April 1, 1952. He preceded her in death in August 1984.
She married Raymond Jarvis on June 28, 1952 in Claremont but they divorced.
She married Clayton Ballard on January 10, 1970 in Claremont but they divorced.
She married Henry Schafer but he preceded her in death.
She leaves a son John Beaudoin of Concord, NH; and one sister, Magdelene Sweet of Claremont.
She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Clifton Lord, Gerald Lord, Glenn Lord, and William Lord; and sisters Iva Lamere and Cressa "Bunny" Benton.
Her ashes were buried in Mtn View Cemetery.
