He married Vera Eathel Warner on July 22, 1899 in Bellows Falls, VT.
Members of the family include four sons Clifton Lord of Claremont, Gerald "Guy" Lord and Glenn Lord both of Charlestown, NH, and William Lord of Walpole, NH; four daughters Cressa "Bunny" Benton of Windsor, VT, Iva Lamere of Claremont, Doris "Dot" Jarvis of Tilton, NH, and Madgeleine Sweet of Newport, NH; thirty three grandchildren; forty four great grandchildren; and two nephews.
Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Claremont, NH.
