Jake Baker passed away Friday evening after a lingering illness at his home here. He was one of the old-time settlers of Carleton. He leaves to mourn a wife and three children: Frank Baker and Mrs. Shirley Frank of Carleton and Mrs. Aaron Zehr of Shickley; four grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the Bethel Church with interment in the Bethel Cemetery.
