Ralph H. Anderson, 87, Donnybrook, died Wednesday at his home.

He was born July 22, 1915 in Valley City, North Dakota. As a young boy his family moved to Donnybrook, where he was reared and educated. He graduated from Donnybrook High School in 1933. Following his education, he farmed in the Donnybrook area and worked in the coal mine there for several years. He also worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad for a short time.

On December 26, 1939, he married his high school sweetheart, Thelma Berg in Minot. They lived in Iowa for one year and also lived in Montana for a short time before making their home in Donnybrook in 1941. Ralph farmed near Donnybrook until the early 1980's when they moved into Donnybrook. He and Thelma also wintered in Mesa, AZ for 21 years.

Ralph was a farmer who loved the land and the Lord. His greatest treasures were his wife of 63 years, his children and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be truly missed.
