Burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo, Iowa .

Dan "Gerald" Anderson, 80, of Elk Run Heights died Friday, May 31st at his home.

Dan was born and raised in Donnybrook, ND, son of Dan and Bertha Anderson. He joined the army in 1954 and moved to Waterloo, IA, upon leaving the service in 1957. He married Beverly Backen in 1959 and together they raised four children whom they brought up to love the LORD.

He enjoyed his career of route sales for Means Industrial Towel, Purolator and Corporate Express, retiring in 2003.

Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; sisters, Dorothy, Joyce and Harriet; and brothers, Ralph and Frank.

He is survived by his children, Kim (Mike) Hospodarsky, Marty (Meredith) Anderson, Judy (Kenny) Livingston, and Herb (Priscilla) Nagel; sisters, Lila Cline and Wilma "Billie" Earles; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The most important thing in Dan's life was his faith in the Lord.
