Adam Deckard, a well-known resident of Cass township, died Sunday afternoon after a short illness with pneumonia. Mr. Deckard was born in Monroe county nearly seventy years ago. He had resided in this years, 48 of which he spent in Cass township. He is survived by his wife and eight children – five sons and three daughters."
