Battistello Is Taken by Death
John Battistello of Centerville Route 1, died Sunday morning at 2:45 at the age of 70 years, three months and 28 days.
He was born in Italy, May 28, 1884, the son of John and Appollina Battistello and came to the U. S. and this locality in 1901.
He united in marriage with Maria Pellan, who survives his death along with one daughter, Elizabeth Battistello, at home, and son John Jr., of Pella, Route 3. There are two grandchildren; also two brothers, and a sister in Italy.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Johnson Funeral Home and burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
