Eva Dixon Smith was named Eriel Zadia Dixon at birth. For reasons unknown to me she hated her names and after she was grown she had her name legally changed to Eva. Her father continued to call her Eriel until his death.
Aunt Eva was an artist and had a lot of talent. I have one of her paintings hanging in my home.
