OBITUARY: Cambellsport News July 1, 1943 "ASHFORD RESIDENT DIED AT DAUGHTER'S Mrs. Elizabeth WIetor, 85, died Wednesday morning at the home of her daugthers, Mrs. Frank Brath, in Ashford as the result of a stroke sustained Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from the Brath residence and at 10 a.m. in ST. Martin's church at Ashford with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. John Gruenewald will officiate. Daughter of John and Margaret Berg, she was born Oct. 14, 1857, in Ashford and was married June 14, 1880 to Michael Wietor, who died Sept 29, 1936. A daughters, Mrs. Agatha Meier, died 20 years ago. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Wietor leaves four other children, Mr. Thomas Harlin of South Eden, Edward and John Wietor of Fond du Lac, and Martin of Oconto; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Martin Berg of Edgar and William Berg of Campbellsport, and four sisters Mrs. Math. Weber of Merton, Mrs Margaret Wietor of Milwaukee, Mrs. John Brandt of Pewaukee and Mrs. Frank Thelen of Ashford. Mrs. Wietor was a member of the Christian Mothers' society of St. Martin's parish and also of St. James church, South Eden."
