Kellerton people were again shocked and saddened Saturday morning when the news reached here that Rowe Barrett had passed away suddenly at his home in St Paul, Minnesota, just a few minutes after arriving home from Kellerton where he had attended the funeral of his brother Charley who died suddenly only five days before.
Rowe Dean Barrett he was born May 19, 1889 in Delphos Story County Iowa, one of the six sons born to John Thomas and Margaret Ann "Maggie" Silvers Barrett.
His mother, Mrs. Maggie Barrett departed Monday morning for St Paul to be at the funeral.
