Augusta spent the last 25 or so years of her life in the state mental hospital, after a break down. Even though many did not know Augusta this way, but as a very sweet loving lady it is a fact of life and a fact that needs to be known. Good or bad we love are family members. Augusta died of carcinoma, sigmoid colon, schizophrenia, paranoid type. Augusta only had one child Aloys Steven Engelmann.
