Followed the Call Into the Hereafter

Souls Freed from the Chain of Earthly Joys and Sorrows

Mrs. Lillie Suckow

Mrs. Lillie Suckow, nee Eberhardt, formerly of Barton, passed away at her home, 2027 N. 27th-st., Milwaukee on Monday, Jan. 19, at 4:10 in the morning. She had been ill for ten weeks following a stroke.

The deceased was born December 25, 1852, at Plymouth. She was married to C. J. Suckow nearly 55 years ago, who predeceased her in 1917. After their marriage they moved to Prospect, where the husband operated a mill for twenty years. They then moved to Barton and ten years later to Milwaukee. She leaves six of eight children born to them, namely: Mrs. Max Henning, Oscar, Albert and Alvin of Milwaukee, Charles of Young America, and Clarence of the town of Trenton. She also leaves five grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Otto Krause and Mrs. Oscar Langjahr of Plymouth, and one brother, Oscar Eberhardt of Milwaukee.

The death of Mrs. Suckow brought sorrow to all who knew her in this neighborhood as she was a fine type of a woman and all that could be expected of a mother and friend. Love and esteem will be woven into the memory of her life.

The funeral will be held tomorrow, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the Froemming funeral home, W. Fond du Lac ave. and N. 24th st., to Wanderer's Rest cemetery, Milwaukee.
