Plymouth Post - July 22, 1903
Michael Eberhardt a long time resident of Plymouth died Thursday afternoon at his home 2 miles east of here after a long illness. He was born October 11, 1822 in Vieselbach, Sachsen, Weimar and reached the age of 80 years, 9 months and 5 days. He was married in 1849 in Germany to his wife (nee Osius) and came to Town Plymouth in 1852. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Charles Suckow of Barton, Wis., Mrs. Otto Krausz and Mrs. W. A. Langjahr of Plymouth and Mrs. Heinrich Eberhardt on the home farm; also 16 grand-children and the following brothers and sisters: Heinrich Eberhardt, Mrs. Anna Voight and Mrs. A. Schneider. Five children preceded him in death. The funeral is Sunday with Pastor H. F. Proehl officiating.
