Henry Nohre 1907-1984

Henry Nohre, 77, rural Bagley, died Saturday, November 17 at his home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church, Bagley, with the Rev. Dennis Borvold officiating. Burial was made in the Bagley City Cemetery with Cease Funeral Home of Bagley handling arrangements.
He was born April 13, 1907 in Black Hammer, Minnesota, the son of Syver and Signe Nohre. They moved in 1914 to Holt, where he was raised and educated. He married Doris Brasseur on November 28, 1946 in Oslo. They moved to Olso in 1957 and moved in 1959 to Bagley. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, where he served as custodian for many years.
He is survived by his wife; three stepchildren, Cheryl (Mrs. Sidney) Johnson, Dallas, Texas, William Brasseur, Los Angeles, California and Eugene Brasseur, Fosston; two sisters, Agnes (Mrs. Fred) Seaberg, Long Lost Lake and Hilma Horien, Holt; one brother, Oscar, Grant's Pass, Oregon and seven step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
