She was born on December 7, 1920 in South Zanesville, Ohio. She lived in Avondale, Ohio for 61 years. She retired from Hart's in 1985. She was a member of Rolling Plains United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and was active in the Women's Society. She was also a member of the Good Sam Camping Club.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James "Eddie" Perone of the home: three daughters, Janice Byers of Zanesville, Ohio, Becky Perone of Zanesville, Ohio and Debby Perone of Canal Winchester, Ohio: two sons, James (Linda) Perone of Zanesville, Ohio and Jon Perone of Hatfield, Virginia: six grandchildren, Stephanie Perone, Trisha Moore, Shaun Williams, Shane Williams, Aaron Lamb and Angela Lamb: five great-grandchildren: three sisters, Betty Swank, Catherine Davis and Dorothy Howard all of Zanesville, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Adelia (Wheeler) Nutt: one daughter, Marsha Nash: three brothers, Gerald Nutt, Harold Nutt Jr. and Homer Nutt.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the funeral home. Dr. Brian Law officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville, Ohio.
