MRS. LUCETTA MAE TROUP, 57, of Plumville, passed away Sunday, January 31, 1965, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning, following an extended Illness.
Born March 27, 1907, in Jefferson Co., she was a daughter Isaac T. and Minnie Catherine Dinger Brocious.
She was married November 6, 1922 to Alvie Myron Troup in Kittanning, who survives.
Mrs. Troup was a charter member of NuMine Wesleyan Methodist Church and had resided at Plumville for one year. Prior to that she had resided at Dayton R.D. 2, for 23 years.
In addition to her husband mentioned above, she is survived by: nine children: Mrs. Howard (Catherine) Arble, of Rural Valley; Herbert Franklin Troup, Mercer R.D. 7; Sgt. Elwood Leroy Troup, Camp LeJeune, N. C.; Donald Lee Troup, Portersville R.D. 1; Mrs. Dan (Thelma) Keeling, Worthington; Mrs. Luis (Velma) Miller, Worthington R.D. 2; Pfc. Myron Paul Troup, Ft. Sill, Okla.; Miss Pearl Marlene Troup, Salem, Ohio; Gary Howard Troup, of Plumville; 17 grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters; Mrs. Annie Dinger, Mayport R.D. 1; Paul Brocious, Ringgold R.D., Lee Jacob Brocious, Fairmount City R.D. 1; Mrs. Pete (Larue) Gallo, South Bethlehem.
She was preceded in death by three sons.
Friends will be received at the Bly Funeral Home, Dayton, from. 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. both today and Tuesday, and until 11 a.m. Wednesday when the body will be taken to NuMine Wesleyan Methodist Church where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Lewis Urey, officiating, assisted by Rev. Thomas Shuttleworth. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Redbank Twp., Armstrong Co.
