MRS. SAMUEL HEADLEY

Mrs. Nancy Headley, widow of Samuel Headley, deceased, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Perry Ammons, Mt. Morris, R. D. 1, Wednesday, October 20, aged 90 years, of infirmities incident to advanced years. Mrs. Headley was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Steele, deceased, and was most highly esteemed. Her husband died March 19, 1895. The following children survive: Mrs. Henry Zimmerman, of Spraggs, Mrs. Lydia Ammans [sic], of near Mt. Morris, Mrs. Elizabeth Stoneking, of Brock, Mrs. Martha Wilkinson, of Waverly, W. Va., Mrs. Belle Fox, of Mt. Morris, Madison Headley, of Washington, Pa., W. E. and David Headley, of Spraggs, J. S. Headley, of Middletown, Pa., Grant Headley, of Cumberland township, and F. M. headley, of Whiteley township. She is also survived by three brothers and one sister, Jesse Steele, of Missouri, Edward Steele, of Washington, Pa., Carter Steele, of Davistown, and Mrs. Rebecca Garrison, of Perry township. Seventy grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral srevices were held on Friday at 9:30 in the Valley Chapel church, conducted by the Rev. C. L. Peacock. Interment in the Headley burying ground.
