Mrs. Lida H. Ammons, wife of Perry Ammons, died at their home, near Mt. Morris, Thursday, February 9, aged 64 years, after a lingerig illness from tuberculosis. Mrs. Ammons was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Headley, deceased, of Perry township. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was an excellent christian woman. Beside her husband she is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Martha Wilkinson, Parkersburg, W. Va.; Mrs. Lindsey Fox, Mt. Morris; Mrs. Elizabeth Stoneking, Mrs. Caroline Zimmerman, Spraggs; William and David Headley, Brock; F. M. Headley, Washington; Grant Headley, Carmichaels, and Sherman Headley, West Middletown.
