Luverne Man Succumbs Saturday to Tuberculosis Following Year's Illness; Interment in Maplewood.
Aanen J. Aanenson died Starurday morning at 2:30 o'clock at the home of his mother, Mrs. San Barstad, on East Lincoln street. His death was due to tuberculosis and followed an illness of about one year's duration.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the home and at 2:00 o'clock from Our Savior's Lutheran church, Rev. J. O. Mundahl officiating, and interment was made in Maplewood. Pallbearers were Robert McClure, Aanen Skoland, Alvin Refsness, Gerald Gunderson, Ben Hendel and Ole Konsmo.
Mr. Aanenson was born June 25th, 1907, on a farm in Rock county. He accompanied his parents when they moved to this city a few years ago and had resided here ever since.
Besides his bereaved parents, deceased is survived by three sisters, and two brothers. They are Mrs. John McClure, of Lismore; Mrs. Clarence Torgerson, of Sheridan, Ill., and Josephine, Alvin and Joseph, of this city. He is also survived by a half-brother and a half-sister, Ole and Gurnia Hommen, of this city.
