Private family services will be held at a later date for Imogene Albaugh, 79. Imogene died Feb. 20, 2008, at Community Hospital. Cremation has taken place.
Imogene was born May 13, 1928, in Walnut, Kan., the daughter of Thomas and Anna Lee (Horton) Spoonemore. She moved at an early age with her family to the Goshen County area, where she grew up. She married Art Albaugh on March 17, 1962, in Belle Fourche, S.D. They lived in Torrington for 46 years.
Imogene is survived by six sons, Randy McIntosh of Las Vegas, Nev., Robert Moorehouse and Glen Albaugh, both of Torrington, Gary Moorehouse of Enfield, Conn., Wesley Moorehouse of Lingle and Gib Albaugh of Mitchell, Neb.; two daughters, Linnie Moorehouse and Gayla Davis, both of Torrington; a sister, Edna Flury of Torrington; 33 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, one grandson, one brother, one sister, three step-brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
