ZORA Jones Richardson KIMBREL
Zora I. "Dodie" Jones Richardson Kimbrel, 57, 1328 F St., Bedford, died following a short illness Tuesday morning at her residence.
She was born Dec. 17, 1928, in Bedford, to Clyde and Stella Brown Jones. She first married Kenneth Lesley Richardson and he died in 1958. She married Harry Kimbrel, Jr., in 1961, and he survives.
She was a member of Gospel Tabernacle Pentecostal Church on West 16th St.
Surviving with the husband are three daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Barbara Richardson) York, Mrs. Kevin (Becky Richardson) McCluskey and Mrs. Ramona Richardson Sowders, all of Bedford; two sons, Kenneth Delbert Richardson, Bedford and Terry Lesley Kimbrel, Springville, and 14 grandchildren. Also, four sisters, Vivian Jones Harrison, Charlotte Jones Lewis, and Mildred Jones Ray, Bedford, and Violet Jones Sargent, Elkhart, and one stepson, Frederick Adams, Muncie.
Preceding her in death were two sons, who died in infancy, and two brothers.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary, the Rev. David Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Breckenridge Cemetery.
Friends may call at the morturay from 6 to 9 p.m. today, from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Thursday, and Friday until the service time.
