Harry D. Kimbrel of Bedford, IN, died Sunday, April 23, 2000, at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born on October 13, 1923, in Bedford, IN, he was the son of Harry V. and Ethel (Sanders) Kimbrel. He married Dodie Zora Jones, and she died in 1986.

Surviving are two sons, Fred Adams of Muncie, IN, and Terry Kimbrel of Springville, IN; one daughter, Rebecca McCluskey of Bedford, IN; one step-son, Kenneth L. Richardson of Bedford, IN; two step-daughters, Barbara York and Ramona Sowders, both of Bedford, IN; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; one son, Timothy (in infancy); four brothers, North, Henry, Russell and Charles Kimbrel; and four sisters, Christina, Janette, and Gennieve Kimbrel and Ruth Stevens.

He was retired from the Bedford Parks Department and was a member of the Lovingway Apostolic Church.

Services for Harry Kimbrel will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 26th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Wesley Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in Breckenridge Cemetery.
