Funeral services for Mrs. W. D. Conn, who died at her home in Winnfield Saturday, March 9, after many years illness, were held Sunday at the New Hope Church, Gaars Mill, with the Rev. Calvin Robinson officiating. Burial was under the direction of the Southern Funeral Home.
Mrs. Conn, a member of the Baptist Church, had been a resident of Winnfield for the past 21 years. She was 76 years, 10 months, and 22 days old at the time of her death.
Besides her husband, she leaves one son, C. R. Conn, Winnfield; and four daughters, Miss Lena Conn, Mrs. Essie Hand, and Mrs. Erie Austin, Winnfield, and Mrs. Carrie Allen, Winnsboro.
