William Dale Conn, 76, who died Saturday, February 8, at 9 a.m., at the home of his son, C. R. Conn, of Rt. 2, Winnfield, was buried at the New Hope Cemetery near Gaars Mill Sunday, February 9th. Funeral services were held at the New Hope Church with Rev. C. H. Robinson, Rev. D. E. Lemmons, and Rev. J. H. Mott officiating. The Southern Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Conn was born in Alabama in 1871 and lived the early part of his life in Alabama. He was married in 1888 and his wife preceded him in death only a few months ago.

His survivors are one son, C. R. Conn, of Rt. 2, Winnfield; three daughters, Mrs. Carrie Allen of Winnsboro, Mrs. Erie Austin and Mrs. Essie Hand, both of Winnfield; three brothers, Jimmie Conn of Chatham, George Conn of Winnfield, and R. H. Conn of Jonesboro; 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were William A. Allen, Coy Conn, E. C. Allen, Jr., Leonard Hand, Cleo Austin, Dale [sic Dail] Austin, and George M. Conn.
