She was born Sept. 11 1915 to John Marinus and Mary Ann Harkness Jensen in Aetna, Alberta Canada. At the age of 20 she married Fredrick Lydon Gibb June 8 1936 in Lethbridge Alberta. Later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple in 1978.

They made their home and started on a ranch in cardston Alberta area then in 1949 emigrated to the US making their home in Salt Lake first then to Fayette later Redmond.

Helen and Fred had 10 Children; eight boys and 2 girls, Lynn, Gerald Donald Robert Harold Joyce becky and Randy. (Walter and Jesse preceded her in death.)

She worked as cook in Salina and later a CNA i Richfield. After both retired they moved to Mayfield. She was a lifelong and devoted member of the LDS church.
