He and Thomas N. Porter operated the first Hardware Store in Fort Lupton. They were first cousins. Thomas's father (William R.) and Levi's mother (Provy Jane) were brother and sister. He also owned a large ranch 1.25 miles east of Fort Lupton.

Dies In Colorado
Word has been received here of the death of L. T. Davis, former resident of Moulton, who passed away at his home near Ft. Lupton, Colo., January 18. He was 86 years old. He left Moulton when 15 years of age. He is survived by his wife and other relatives.
