Matilda Buckles Green (5/4/1875-5/4/1948) was born the daughter of William James Buckles (1828-1917) and Caroline Mann Muntz (1835-1897) Buckles.

Her full siblings: Theresa G Buckles Shattuck (1862-1906), Herman Louis Buckles (1865-1943), Amelia Buckles Rarey (1866-1921), Matilda Buckles Green (1873-1948), John Louis Buckles (1879-1963),
Her half siblings were: Anna M Buckles Carpenter (1895-1992), Joseph Buckles (1898-), Flora Buckles Besse (1899-1921), Joseph Buckles (1901-1901), and William F. Buckles (1903-1963).

She married James W. Green (1866-).

Susan Mann Mack (2/6/1890-11/12/1968) (Theodore Mack), Grace Green Reynolds (1895-1997), (Albert Reynolds), and four sons: James Green (died as a child 1892-), Emmett Green (1901-1976), Phelps, NY, William Green (abt 1903-) stationed with the US Army in Frankfurt, Germany and Clyde Green, Olean.

Mrs Matilda Buckles Green died in the home of her daughter, Mrs Susie Mann Mack 214 Front St, Olean, NY following a long illness. She was born in Quebec, Canada in 1875 and was a resident of Olean for the past 45 years. She is the widow of James W Green.

Mrs Matilida Green Died This Morning
Mrs Matilda Green, widow of James W. Green, died today (May 4, 1948), at the home of her daughter Mrs. Susie Mack, 214 Front Street, following a long illness,
Mrs. Green was born March 6, 1875 in Quebec, Canada, and has been a resident of Olean for the past forty-four years.
Surviving are three sons Emmett Green-Phelps N.Y.; William Green, stationed with the U.S. Army in Frankfurt, Germany, and Clyde Green, Olean and Mrs. Grace Reynolds, Binghamton, N.Y. one brother John Buckles, Olean; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body has been removed to the family home 16 Martha Avenue, where funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon (May 6, 1946) at two O'clock, Rev. Carlyle T. Boynton, Pastor of the First Methodist Church will officiate. burial will by in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville.
