Shortly after William's death, Lenora sold or exchanged farms with her daughter, Tennie, and husband, William Brown, in Calloway County. After a short time, she built a large frame house. Here she could be closer to three of her daughters, Luna Kelso, Ruby Eaker, and Elizabeth Davy Murdock who married Thomas Kimbrough Murdock. She would also be close to two of her sons and their families who had farms nearby. This homeplace is now owned by the 6th generation of Murdocks descended through Tom and Elizabeth Murdock.
Lenora died of cancer 14 April 1929; however, the descendants of the 14 children of William and Lenora are stretched all across America.
