The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Snow Creek Baptist church, near Danbury, where Mrs. Mabe was a member. Rev. Sam Gilbert will be in charge.
Mrs. Mabe was born in Stokes County. She was married to Richard Mabe in 1899. He died November 11, 1941.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Otis Simmons and Mrs Hammond Wilson both of Danbury, Route 1, Mrs. Otis Stevens, Lawsonville and Mrs. Tom Smith and Mrs. Noah Mabe, both of Danbury; three sons, Lester, Lennie and Zeb Mabe, all of Danbury; 21 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ed Rogers and Alex Rogers, Lawsonville; and two sisters, Mrs. Jettie Mabe, Walkertown, Rural Route and Mrs. Nora Mabe, Lawsonville.
