Funeral services for Robert J. Berry, 80, a resident of Hall County for the past 47 years, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Jorgenson, pastor, officiating.
Masonic graveside rites were held by the Lakeview Masonic Lodge at Fairview Cemetery. Burial was under the direction of Spicer Funeral Home.
Mr. Berry died Saturday at Hall County Hospital.
He was a retired farmer and was born March 6, 1886 in Navarro County.
He is survived by a brother, J.A. Berry of Memphis; nephews, Robert Stewart of Memphis and Gene Stewart of Childress; and a niece, Mrs. Dayne Cotter of Panhandle and several other nieces and nephews who do not live in this area.
Pall bearers were Mack Cofer, Bobby Barbee, Earl Thomas, R.C. Clements, Aubrey Robertson and Shelby Hignight.
