The home of Carl Curtis and his wife Martha Vernon Curtis was saddened by the death of their little daughter, Millie Virginia, Thursday, at 10:15 December 24, at their home in Glines Ward, of diabetis and other complications.
She was born April 4, 1914 and had attended school until just a few days before her death. It was not known she was ailing, until the sudden breakdown came, when the physicians were called little hope was entertained for her recovery but death was not expected so soon.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 12 o'clock in the Maeser Ward Meetinghouse, with Bishop M. M. Batty presiding--Prayer was offered by John A. McConkie. the speakers were N. G. Sowards, President Don B. Colton and Bisho[ M. M. Batty. Benediction by Edawrd Bodily.
Beautiful music was rendered by the Maeser ward choir which sang the following: "Some Time We'll Understand," "I Need Thee Every Hour" and "God Be With You Til We Meet Again". Miss Rosaline Jones sang "Face to Face". There were many beautiful floral offerings from friends.
Interment was made in the Maeser cemetery. John B. Eaton dedicating the grave. The sympathy of the entire valley go out to the bereaved parents at this Christmas season.
