--Ephraim Evans, 78, a resident of Utah since 1857 and a one time farmer of Prvo, died at his home, 67 F street, Tuesday of a cerebral hemorrhage. He was born aboard a ship which was bound to America from England. His parents were on their way to Utah. For the last ten years Mr. Evans had made his home in Salt Lake.
--His widow, Mrs. Phoebe Evans, is his only surviving near relative.
--Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in the Provo City cemetery Friday at 1:30 p.m.
