"Mary Elizabeth Van Der Meyden Napier, 55, 1443 Wasatch Ave., died Jan. 22 of natural causes in a Salt Lake hospital.

Born April 27, 1917, Salt Lake City, to Gerrit and Arlettie Boyce Van Der Meyden. Married to William Andrew Napier Sr., Jan. 1, 1938, Salt Lake City; he died Oct. 26, 1965. Member LDS Church.

Survivors: sons, daughters, William A. Jr., Danny B., Mrs. Blaine (Sondra) Schouten, Mrs. James (Sharon) Silver, all Salt Lake City; Thomas R., Kearns; 17 grandchildren; father, Salt Lake City; brothers, sisters, Bob, Bountiful; Howard, Kearns; Mrs. Earl (Thelma) Hughes, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lettie Parson, Idaho; half-brother, half-sister, George M. Van Der Meyden, Mrs. Danny (Margaret) Dever, both Salt Lake City.

Funeral Thursday, 10 a.m., 260 E. South Temple, where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m., Thursday hour prior to services. Burial Salt Lake City Cemetery."
