Thelma Hughes passed away February 13, 1995 in Salt Lake City.

Thelma was born December 13, 1919, the daughter of Gerritt and Arlettie Maria Boice Vander Meyden. She Married Francis E. Rose June 23, 1937; he later died on May 14, 1945. She then Married Earl M. Hughes, April 26, 1947.

She is survived by Doris Elaine Rose, daughter; Patsy Ann Rose, daughter; and Ronald E. Hughes, son. She has 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband; and two sons, James Richard Rose, and Gary McKell Hughes.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Fay Case nursing home for their loving kindness to Thelma over the past ten years.

Graveside services will be held Thursday February 16, 1995 at 11 a.m., at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue & N Street. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple.
