Elmer Lapp, 51, former Coshocton county resident, died of a heart attack Friday as he was walking to his farm home in Northern Franklin county, near Columbus, after his auto had skidded off the road and stalled in the snow.

Mr. Lapp fell in front of the home of Edgar Lamb, 1000 Hard rd, after walking about three-fourths of a mile. The victim had moved from Coshocton county six years ago. He was a Mason and a member of the Perry Community grange.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Fribley, Wichita Falls, Tex.; three brothers, David and James Lapp of Coshocton and Samuel Lapp of Washington C. H. The body was taken to the P. E. Rutherford funeral home in Columbus.
