DIED OF PARALYSIS

Mrs Michael Lapp, aged about 51 years died at her home at Wills Creek last Friday of paralysis. She suffered two strokes of paralysis several months ago and since that time she has been in very poor health. The deceased was the mother of twelve children, four of whom have preceded her to the grave. She was a kind wife and mother and possessed many commendable virtues. Her departure is mourned by many friends. Rev N. N. Harter conducted the funeral services at St. Paul Sunday forenoon. His discourse was about the wanderings of the Children of Israel, the help they receive from God in the time of trouble and their triumph in reaching the Land of Promises. This he compared with the life of each person and showed how every one who loved the Lord and kept His commandments could triumph over death and reap the reward of the righteous. After the services the remains were laid to rest in the St. Paul Cemetery.
