Died Less Than Week After
Golden Wedding
John Lapp, aged 79, of Wills Creek died at 10:50 Tuesday morning at his home after a few days illness with pneumonia. Mr and Mrs Lapp celebrated their golden wedding anniversary just last Wednesday, March 3rd, when many friends gathered at their home to extend them congratulations. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev H C Ter Vehn of Coshocton in charge of the services, assisted by the pastor, Rev K J Bishop. Mr Lapp was a life long member of St Paul's Lutheran Church near Coshocton. The deceased leaves his widow, Mrs Martha Lapp, and a son Archie Lapp and three grandchildren of Conesville. He is survived also by five brothers, Henry, William, Albert, Samuel, and Elmer, and four sisters; Mrs Louise Greer, Mrs Callie Thresh, Mrs Laura Balo, and Mrs Hattie Stagmyer.
