Mrs Martha E Lapp, 80, Wills Creek, died suddenly of a heart attack at 10:30 am, yesterday in her home. She was born 6 November, 1866 in Muskingum County, a daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Kreis Sandel. On 3 March, 1887, she was married to John F Lapp, who died ten years ago. Surviving are one son, Archie C Lapp, of near Conesville, three sisters, Mrs Geneva Lapp, Isleta, Mrs Emma Stagmyer, West Lafayette and Mrs Charles Royer, Coshocton; three brothers G H Sandel, Coshocton, J E Sandel, Newcomerstown Route and P N Sandel, Garrettsville; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One daughter died in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 1 am, Wednesday in the Zion Lutheran Church, Adamsville, of which she was a life-long member. Rev Robert Binkley, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the home of the son, near Conesville, after 7 pm, today.
