Lincoln - Clifton O. Allen, 74, died at 4:40 a.m. Thursday at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Fricke Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jonathan Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Allen was born Oct. 6, 1900, at Erwin, Tenn., a son of William and Margaret Stokes Allen. He married Alice P. Goldman, July 3, 1919, at Mount Pulaski. Surviving are his wife; a son, Harold, Atlanta; four sisters, Mrs. Ada Kegley, Erwin, Tenn.; Mrs. Helen Harder, Rock Island; Mrs. Rosie Nickalo, San Bernadino, Calif.; Mrs. Bessie Wright, Lincoln; five brothers, Alfred, Prescott, Ariz.; Walter, Peoria; Lloyd, Tremont; Herman, Peoria; Carl, Los Angeles, Calif.; two grandchildren. Four brothers preceded him in death. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and the Caterpillar Retirees Club, United Auto Workers 974.
