Mrs. Maude M. Rumgay, 84, of Meyersdale, died Dec. 28, 1973, at home. Born Nov. 21, 1889, Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Kumpf) Foy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, and three children, James, William and Eleanor. Surviving are three children: Andrew and Miss Marguerite, both of Meyersdale; and Parker of Hershey; also two grandchildren who reside in Puerto Rico, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Brenda Blake of LaVale, Md.; and seven great-grandchildren. She was a sister of George and Charles Foy and Mrs. Dale Weller, all of Meyersdale; John Foy of Northfield, N. J.; and Mrs. Estelle Scanlon, Anaheim, Calif. She was a life-long member of Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church and a member of the American War Mothers and the American Legion Auxiliary. Friends were received in Price Funeral Home, Meyersdayle, where Rosary was recited Sunday evening. Mass of the Resurrection was held Monday morning in Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church with the Rev. Clark George officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
