John Foy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Foy, has taken the position of clerk of Hotel Slicer, formerly held by his brother, Corp. George L. Foy. John Will do well to follow in his brother's footsteps.

John L. Foy, 75, of Northfield, N.J., died July 6, 1979. Formerly of Meyersdale, Mr. Foy was the son of Samuel and Mary Foy. He is survived by his wife Mable and a son, John L. of Washington, D.C. He is also survived by a brother Charles and sisters, Estelle Scanlon and Cecelia Weller. Mr. Foy was a veteran of W.W. II. Services were held at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, Northfield.
