Mary T. Hain 81, wife of the late Nicholas Hain, Myerstown RD 3, died Sunday afternoon at home. She had been in ill health for the past one and one-half years.
Born in Austria-Hungary, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Honich Bahsteter.
She had operated a grocery store near Strack's Dam, Myerstown, for many years. She was a member of Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church.
Surviving are three children, Michael J. and Joseph J. Hain, both of Myerstown RD 3; and Elizabeth, wife of Frank Sentz, Wernersville; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Peter Bahsteter, Lebanon; and Joseph Bahsteter, Columbus, Ohio.

Services were held this morning from the Thompson Funeral Home for Mary T. Hain, wife of the late Nicholas Hain, Myerstown RD 3, followed by a mass of Christian burial in Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown.
The Rev. Hugh McLaughlin officiated. Interment was in St. Gertrude's Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Hain, Nicholas Hain, Edward Hain, Frank Sentz Jr., Carl Sentz and Walter Brown Jr.
