Nicholas Hain, 63, Myerstown Route 3, died at his home on Friday afternoon of complications following a seven-month illness. Hain, a farmer, was a member of St. Mary's Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown, and the Mt. Zion Fire Co.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary (Bahsteter) Hain; two sons, Michael J. and John J., both of Myerstown Route 3; a daughter, Elizabeth, wife of Frank Sentz, Sinking Spring, and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Bertha Hain, Lebanon Route 2; three brothers, John, Joseph and Adam, Lebanon Route 2; and the following sisters, Mrs. Frances Kramer; Margaret, wife of John Pastel, Lebanon; Mary, wife of Joseph Willman; Eva, wife of Steven Willman, both of Lebanon Route 2, and Bertha, wife of Daniel Krall, East Reinoehlsville.

Funeral Services Held For Nicholas Hain Today
Funeral services were held this morning for Nicholas Hain, Myerstown Route Three, from the Thompson Funeral Home, 126 S. 9th St. A Requiem High Mass followed in St. Gertrude's Catholic Church with Rev. Ferdinand Gruss, pastor, officiating. Interment was made in St. Gertrude's Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Frank Sentz, John and Edward Hain, Clem and Jacob Falk, and Joseph Bahstetter.
